Our Story

Hello! We are Matt and Kyle. Since 2021 we’ve been making Meeple Meet, a mobile app geared toward board games conventions. It started because we saw a problem at our favorite convention that we wanted to solve: matching players that need games with games that need players.

Currently most conventions handle this by using “looking for players” or “teacher wanted” signs, but we saw an opportunity to help gamers find each other more efficiently and even provide a little bit of order and planning to their convention weekend if they wanted.

With that solid idea geared towards board game conventions as a whole and seeing some success and adoption at our home convention, Geekway to the West, we started evolving Meeple Meet into a broader convention solution to serve as an affordable and lightweight app solution for board game related conventions.
